Need Beasty plant - musk turtle....

what submersed plant would work for musk turtle.

I want a long stem plant. So far she has torn up java fern and water sprite weighted down.

What else can I try? Anubius? need something with thick stem...

Thanx

So far my musk eats java fern, ludwigia, bacopa and water wisteria. The only plants she hasn't eaten are hornwort and javamoss. I suppose that doesn't help with the thick stem plant preference but hornwort can fill in nicely and be weighted down. if you try anubias post your findings (though i heard they can secrete a toxic substance? i dont know if this is true)

I am pretty sure they are omnivores but eat mostly meat. Mine is out of control and eats what she wants. i can't tell her what to do (even if it means eating the plants in the tank) haha
and I have actually had no problem with shedding. imo it only sheds if it's stressed
