There are a couple changes to our policies that are going into effect today.
This will help me keep better track of inventory. When we started with a handful of products, it was no big deal for me to just know how much I had left of a certain thing. Now that are catalog of goodies is getting ready to expand again, it's gotten very difficult for me to just "know."
I'm even offering a couple of bribes to help ease the transition for folks
1) Bonus Points!
Repeat customers get rewards! Registered customers will get a $5 gift certificate for every $100 they spend. And you don't have to spend the $100 all at once. It adds up every purchase you make!
and post a review/comment on a product, and I'll send you a coupon for %20 off any 1 item in stock. Registration is not required to use the store!
Just to get the bonus goodies.
3) Birthday Presents!
Registered users who enter their birth date (it's not required) will receive a birthday present from us each year.
This should help make ordering easier for folks as well. No more waiting for me to tell you a subtotal or let you know if a product is in stock. The new shopping cart will take care of that. If an item is out of stock, it won't be orderable.
I will still be very active on here to answer questions, and goof off a little. I'll still even take your order through TPT if you don't want to use the website. I can't give points and coupons and stuff out if you don't use the shopping cart, though!
Here's the bad news: After a lot of thought. It's been months, seriously. I have had to make a change to our shipping prices. The postal service rates have gone up recently, and at $5 I lose money on every package I ship now.
NEW SHIPPING RATES:
Dry Goods (anything not alive)
$8 flat rate for orders less than $50 and free for orders above $50.
$15 for Priority Mail with no live arrival guarantee
$35 for Express Mail with live arrival guarantee
Both methods include breather bags, styro lined boxes, and heat pack or cold pack.
