Finnex Fugeray 10 inch

Can the 10 inch Finnex fugeway be plugged into a Dimmer? I have it on a 3.5 gallon tank and the algae growth just went nutz.

It cannot dim finnex light fixtures. However, you can put 1 layer of fiberglass window screen over it to cut it's output by about 40%. You could also raise the light. I use the window screen:

hmm, thats a good idea, to use screen or fiber glass. I've tried searching for some sorta thingamajiger... that's affordable and can raise the fixture u somehow. not luck on it so far. Any suggestions?
