Too much light for 20 gal?

Today I took the plunge into the finnex world! *no applause nesecary* I ordered a finnex fugeray 24 inch for my 20 gallon long tank off amazon. I consciously got it too small because my plants are low light but upon evauluating the PAR values and reviews and such, I'm scared I might have gotten a light way to bright for my low tech setup. Can someone help determine if this is in fact true?

*Sorry for all the threads but I'm new to all this and am still trying to feel my way through the lighting game*

So you decided to put the sun a couple inches over your tank. Just kidding. I think you'll be fine. Do you have a tank lid that the light is going to sit on? Or are you going to hang it over the tank? Just keep an eye on the plants if you start seeing Algae be prepared to raise the light, dim it or cut your photo period.

I do have a glass canopy to sit it over. Do you think that'll dim it a bit? I mean if worse comes to worst I could just black out a few led's lol.

I have the 24 in over a 26B which is about 20 inches deep. It also is setting on a glass top. At first it was just right but then as my tank became more planted and the tannins from some new driftwood increased it was leaving the bottom pretty dark. In fact I just added an old T5 I had lying around to brighten it up some.

Check out the LED chart on here. Obviously on the ends it will be less.
Lighting an Aquarium with PAR instead of Watts

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...
