Finnex Max-300 Troubleshooting

I own a Finnex Max-300 Temperature Controller. Purchased February 12, 2014. I'm having trouble with it all of a sudden.

When I plug my Hydor inline heater directly into the power outlet, it works fine, the red light on the heater itself turns on indicating that it's heating the water.

When I plug the heater into the Finnex Max-300 and turn the Max-300 on, the red light on my heater turns on for a half second and them immediately turns off. Meanwhile, the Finnex Max-300 has both green and red lights on, indicating that it is allowing power to reach the heater. But it isn't because the Hydor's light isn't on.

When I attempt to change the temperature setting by pressing the on/off/set button, it blinks "88" one to three times (and beeps with each blink) and returns to the current temperature reading, not allowing me to modify the setting.

Any ideas what's wrong and/or how to fix it?

D'oh! I was on your site last night and didn't see the support tab. The contact form wasn't working, so I came here, knowing that you regularly check this site. Thanks!

Did they resolve your problem? If so what was the issue?

They had me ship the faulty thermostat back to them. They inspected it and found it to have a faulty circuit board or something. They sent me a brand new one and it's been working fine.
