Sorry, no legs to raise the fixture, though, one fixture we are developing will have a hanging kit.

I must say I am disappointed that the ramp/dimmer functionality cannot be added to my 2xray 2 + 1xplsnted plus after shelling out 300$ for them.

But also excited at the possibility of s more powerful ray2. My tank will take all the light it can get.... so I might replace the lights when these come out.

The legs need to be able to extend further out (longer pieces for the legs that slide into the fixture)

Also my brother's idea, that you guys need some sort of system to help with light flooding forward. This isn't the biggest deal in the world, but I rather not put electrical tap going the length of the fixture on the front so that the light doesn't shine into my eyes if I am sitting in front of the tank on a chair.

Lol, I'm not sure what we would do with everyones old fixture. Enjoy the light, you have at least a half year until I believe our cream of the crop lights come out.

If finnex continues to improve its feature set, and par output, while keeping near the Ray 2 DS price point I will be only buying finnex Fixtures!

I've heard about Finnex standing by their products even after the warranty has expired, any thought about increasing the warranty period?

May I suggest that you consider a program that allows us "old" fixture people to send our light in and have you install the dimmer/ ramp function? There is just no way to convince my other half to buy different light when mine all work just fine, and will never die!

You said you didn't want us to open the fixture up, but what happens if you do? I know I would love the new functions, on my finnex lights I currently own.

Could resell them as "Used" fixtures. In all honesty, if the new fixture has all of the features I'm looking for, I would probably be looking to have to pawn off my planted+s and one ray2 myself.

Really I'm just looking for a 15 hour photoperiod with the light intensity scaling up to the peak, and then back down.

i hope to see this light very soon, i almost bought the current LED's but now am thinking waiting for another few months will get me a better lights. i hope new fixture will be able to handle wider tanks so we don't have to use multiple fixtures.

I doubt Finnex is a big enough company to do a trade in program, they probably dont have the same margins as Apple for example.

I was also about to pull the trigger on a new LED fixture purchase (of another brand), until I read this thread. Can't wait to see what you have in store for planted tanks that will include more PAR, and kudos for going the hanging kit route.

Any idea how long it will take for your Canadian distributor, finnex.ca, to get the new fixtures?
