Will a Fugeray fit under my canopy?

I want to get a Fugeray light to go on a 29 gallon aquarium. There is a wood canopy on the aquarium that has an interior lenght of 30.5 inches. Will a 30 inch fugeray light fit?

I expect I will have to remove the legs, but will it fit after that?

Thanks!

You would either need a glass top under the canopy or mount the light to the wood somehow

You will need to take off the legs, and if it is a little too long you can sit it slightly diagonally across a gloss top.

If you want to shorten it, a fugeray can be trimmed up to 2" shorter (completely voiding the warranty ) see here Modding a Finnex Fugeray to fit in a one-tube fixture
