Any chance the moonlights will be on a separate power cord so we can use timers? I wouldn't mind paying a little extra in one fixture as opposed to buying a separate moonlight kit to be on its own timer. I've done that despite having integrated moonlights in a fixture..

Man, a ray 2 in 12" would be awesome. Other than that, I'm excited about the new spectrum. I have a feeling more and more of the reef guys will be moving to planted tanks as time goes on.

+1 for 30" length & separate moonlight cord. This would be perfect for the new 36G bowfront I'm setting up in my bedroom. Thanks for making such excellent products, Lowe!

need a light that is always on when plugged in with a built in timer but instead of turning the fixture off it will switch it to moonlight. one plug one timer two functions.

I think something that should be added along side the "wish list" of things that everyone posts should be a price they expect to pay for all the things they want. I personally like the price that the current fixtures come with, and although weather effects, built in timers, more LEDs, more par, moon lights, longer cords, so on and so on would be great, I can't imagine what it would cost to include all of these features.

Agreed, my timer idea is a cheap one and I know I have paid well over what some of the lights I have are worth... And they were from a good reputation company

One thing that I think would be easy and cheap enough to provide to the buyers without increasing cost would be larger brackets/mounts/legs, whatever you call them. My 48" ray 2 is sitting on top of the glass lids instead of with the legs like I want it to be because the legs won't fit over the frame of my 75 gallon tank.

Make an 18" adjustable version to fit a 20" standard 10 gallon tank! I wouldnt sacrifice a row of LED's either, plant keepers like bright and fast plant growth! :P

The lengths I care about are 30", 36" and 48".

I don't care about moonlights or timers.

High par at 100% and an on board dimmer are features that interest me.(buidmyled charges 14.99 to add a dimmer I would fork that out on top of the price of the new finnex without hesitation).

Independent control of color would be great, but I'm not sure it would be a deal breaker.

storm programs don't interest me at all.

Will this model be better for plants like HC/Glosso than the Finnex Ray 2? Im trying to decide if I should wait for it or just buy the Ray 2 :/ :/

So how is the planted+ different from the fugeray and ray lines? Or more to the point why should i hold off on buying a regular fugeray now? Are you going to continue to sell all three led products or will fugeray become the planted+ product? Any chance there will be separate cords for the regular and moonlights so we can use our own timers?

Thanks
