I gotta say, I was like 75% positive i would not like the color of this light because... well. It is 'red' right? Who wants a very very very warm white? Definitely not me. But I had a feeling about this one! When I fired it up I was amazed... well first blinded! It makes my fish look better than even this video, and IMHO that is hard to do. I am going to be traveling with this light to some of my friends houses. I will have some pics and video of a Mata Mata in a week or two. I really do not think pictures or video will EVER do this light justice, which sucks because who wants to buy a light without seeing accurate colors in pictures? Bottom line: If you are trying to make ALL colors pop, NOTHING will do it better.

And no, I do not work for finnex ;D

Re: Monster Ray...

Yeah I have a Ray 2 on my high-tech setup 26g bow front. Barely any color developing out of the stems. I'd like to seriously know if the monster Ray paired with the Ray 2 would bring the reds out in the stems? Someone try it and let me know... lol

Nice, do you like the combo in person?

I like your acrylic leg extensions too!
