Talking How GREAT is Rachel * Inverts by Msjinkzd

We have a lot of great forum members and great sponsors here. The way everyone helps each other on this site is what makes this the best Aquarium Site on the web.

Rachel has been trying to help me with one of my insane requests to find the very obscure Sri Lankan Dwarf Shrimp (Caridina simoni simoni) for my very OCDC Sri Lanka Bio-type tank. She's been chasing my Holy Grail and really going out of her way to help me.

While I'd love to think I'm that precious, it's more a matter of Rachel being Rachel. She is always going out of her way to help members here. Something newbies would do well to appreciate when they are posting, "where should I shop" threads.

We have accepted the fact that I'm only getting these shrimp if I fly to Ceylon with a dip net & hip boots. It didn't end there, No, no, no... she continued to helped me with my Back-up plan too. Finding Ceylon Combtails and Banded mountain loach (Acanthocobitis urophthalmus). She did that by referring me to another source. No finical profit on her part, just because it was the right thing to do!!!

Not unlike, the Santa In miracle on 34th street.

I was able to oder my fish today after a long tedious search completing my Bio-Type tank stocking.

Please look beyond $$$ when making purchases for your tanks and consider the importance and value that relationships with Rachel and all our sponsors & fellow members bring.

Rachel, I hope you are totally blushing, Luv ya!

Frank

Congrats on the stocking falling into place. Also, I agree; Rachel is quite the awesome seller. Always so pleasant to work with even if it's just a casual conversation. The world needs more Rachels.

For the most part you don't even need to look beyond the money, her prices are great and then factor in the quality and success rate!!

It is an utter shame that I killed my last batch of cardinals and dwarf cories by contaminating the QT 2 weeks in. Those fish were all beautiful and healthy ... Not to mention I got more than I had ordered! Her packaging is the Cadillac (or Egg Mcmuffin?) of packaging.

Rachel is The Best. She has been so helpful during our fish problem woes, and the fish (and snails) I have bought from her have been so healthy and beautiful (no woes with these fish, that's for sure!) She is especially supportive of kids getting into the hobby!

I have to agree! I got my first order of fish in the mail today from Rachel. They spent 1 1/2 days in a box and still arrived in good condition! I was definitely impressed! Plus, she took the time to answer ALL of my questions, not just the ones that directly related to my order! She is definitely a seller I'd go back to for any future fish orders!

Rachel always gives good and honest opinions on livestock. Now if everyone would just listen. lol

We should all be so lucky to live near her and be able to hear the presentations she gives at club meetings, ect. Maybe some webcasts are in order.
