I think you are right about the ludwigia not being right for the tank. I've found this is a difficult plant to use in smaller tanks. Rotalas would be much nicer. With that being said, the layout is very nice and I am loving the HC.

I have been thinking more about the ludwigia and what to replace it with. I like rotala indica but I have done it so many times before. I was thinking about getting some giant hairgrass and just trimming it from a low front to a high back so that you really can't tell where it stops and the micro sword begins. I'm not sure how that would turn out though.
Anyone else got ideas as to what would look good in place of that ludwigia???? There is no real limiting factor. I have good deep eco-complete there along with med-high light, plenty of ferts+co2.
