I've owned a Ford before. THAT is why I will never go back. I think they're pieces of garbage for the most part. There are exceptions, yes. The 2003 Cobra is one of them, and they make a decent truck.

I have been very very happy with my Firehawk, and come from a GM-only family. Chevy blue runs in our veins, and we bleed Pontiac red.

My boyfriend wants a Honda Accord, if that makes you feel any better.

Your loss. I've owned two Mustangs, my next car will be a Mustang. My wife drives my Mustang more than her Camaro. Nothing wrong with the Camaro. It's been a great car, but she's wanting to sell it to get a 2003 Sonic Blue GT.
Neither of my Mustangs ever saw the inside of a garage. I changed the oil every 15k miles, or when I felt like it, whichever came first. After 275k miles on the first 302, started to lose a little compression and put in a stroker kit. The piston walls still had crosshatching marks on it.

Evidently, I love Mustangs. ;D

Quite a claim. You autocrossing or dragracing these Camaros? Camaros do best in straight line acceleration, and your Subaru performs best on a road course. Hardly an equal match.

well... maybe not once a week, but it happens rather often. i chalk it up to camaro owners not knowing how to drive. i owned a '91 camaro, and they are comparable in straight line acceleration. they are also cheap, which means high school kids and other people with limited driving skills tend to buy them. i would still drive one over a mustang any day.

No you had it right, fram is horrible , if they would like to contest it in court i have pictures of the whole process even when the gasket blew ... even when i was installing it ( was video taping my remote oil cooler for a friend so he could see how i got it on , his downpipe was blocking the removal of his because he had it located wrong ) well during the video i put a new filter on , you see me make sure the oring has oil around it for a good seal .. i hand tighten it and 1/4 turn with a oil filter tool .. its pretty funny to watch just considering if i wanted to i bet i could sue the crap out of fram with it .. anyways the next part of the tape was me getting in the car and driving around a corner letting off the gas so i could show the anti lag system for the turbo .. well uhm i started it went about 100 feet going slow and the oring blew out all you see is a huge smoke cloud moving .. by the time i pulled out i had cooked my 8 month old 8.8 wesicos , not to mention the bearing getting ripped up etc , etc etc etc basically i had to redo the engine so by all means.. FRAM SUCKS NEVER BUY FRAM thankyou.

The '91 Z28 topped out at 245hp. Did you have the Z or a 6cyl?

If you're racing new V8 Camaros in your Subaru, you don't stand a chance. Those LS1 Z28's start at 305hp in stock trim. The '04 WRX has 227hp. Hmmm....

So people with "limited driving skills" buy Camaros. Are you including yourself in this group since you also had one?

I have a V8 Formula Firehawk. It's not a Camaro, but has the same engine. Any time you're ready, drive on down to Austin TX and I'll give you and your little Subie a taste of my "limited driving skills". K? 8)
