The NJAS is having it's Spring Auction on Sunday May 2, 2004:

http://www.njas.net/documents/SpringAuction04.pdf

Everyone is most welcome!

I will be there, as well as George Willms and Jay Luto! We would love it if some of you New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania members of Planted Tank would take the drive out and join us. It would be a great opportunity for us to meet and spend a Sunday afternoon buying plants, swapping stories and maybe do a little trading too!

So come on Buck and Marcel! Take the ride down 84! Aquaverde...I have seen you mention coming to an NJAS event! Splash...Suffern is a stones throw away from the auction! Mario...take a ride across the bridge and join us! Everyone! You are all invited!

Please let me know if you think you will attend! I will be happy to provide directions to the auction.

Mike

Hey, that sounds like fun.

How do the auctions work. Can you enter your own plants to be auctioned off, or can you only buy?

You think these guys need any more plants in their auctions?

Sean

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

Sorry, Mike. I would love to attend, but I will be on an oceanographic research cruise somewhere off the NJ coast from 21 April through 5 May. Thank you for the personal invite, however!

I sent Jay a 12 gallon nano cube aquarium as a donation for the show! Maybe one of you guys will get it! One of you should take pictures so we can see the show.

WHOA!

Thanks Robert! What a wonderful donation! Jay can forget it, that pup is MINE!!!

Once again a shout to all you local members, here is your chance to get some great plants at some great prices! You might even make a few more plant friends!

The opportunity is here! I don't want to hear any more about how your LFS has lousy plants and you don't know where to get good plants if you don't attend this auction! here is your chance. I am bringing some huge C. lutea, some C. balansae, baby tears, C. undulata, and African and Java fern, just to name a few. I am sure Jay and George have a few tasty items to auction in addition to the other club members.
