Man, that's a pretty wicked looking setup. Not too much into it, since I don't have any cable right now  , but catch it when it's on. Just waiting for the JTSC some time this coming year (2 subcategories w/modded 300 & 500 "horsers")...

Well it turned out to be a very decent race for third place with a couple million dollar pace cars in first and second. Of course. haha. It's going to be another dominant year for Micheal Shumacher and the Ferrari crew.
Glad to see Alonso and the Renault team on the podium, though!

What is the JTSC series?

The JTSC is the Japanese Touring championship. It's comprised of two classes: one 300 horses and another w/500 horses. The cars are basically ultra modded production cars (e.g. Vipers, Porsche, NSXs). One of the them is gonna be in California sometime this year...

Why is it called the Japanese Tourcing Championship if it seems to comprise of cars from the US and Europe as well as Japan? Maybe if it was actually in Japan, I could understand but I'm just wondering what got the name started.

JTSC was originally started in Japan and over the years, it has kinda spread to other arenas. The bulk of the races are still in Japan and only a fraction are not (Europe, Malaysia, U.S.). Just think of Gran Turismo .
