Hello from soutwest Georgia...
I'm not new to the aquarium hobby by no means...but this will be my first time dealing with live plants. I had kept all sorts of fw species tanks and recently took down my reef tanks (due to physical conditions I'm dealing with). And that was one of the hardest things I had to do.
So now I am researching about planted tanks with shrimps. Which brings me here to learn.
I have no problem with asking questions when I get stumped on something. And I want to do this right so any of my livestock I will have will not parish.
Right now I just have a standard 2.5g with a pair of Cherries to hold me over until I get all I to turn the Nuvo 16 I have into a planted tank. Did this a couple before my reef was taken down 2wks ago, give or take.
Photos will come soon.
Thanks for ya time
why i hadn't ever ventured into planting, was told for years planted tanks are hard to keep or only can do it with a Co2 system.
I find that hard to believe. Always more than one way to run a aquarium
