Wonder what type of rock he uses for the 2nd tank. That looks like construction rocks but with a darker color

Wow! Such beautiful tanks! Watching that first video, it's hard not to notice much money there is there. All those plants, all that aqua soil, those huge tanks. Thousands of dollars per tank.

Why do you have to tease us with these great videos of aquarium stores that we don't have in the US...

Let's look at the silver lining... if we had access to shops like that, we'd all be bankrupt.

On the flip, it should give us something to aspire to in North America.

Great series of videos and fun to watch. I like the one where they went to B-Box aquarium. It looks like every LFS in Japan is like AFA and carries ADA products.

I want to try those two new rocks, I wonder if AFA will get them this shipment or next?

...and vision and talent. It helps to have the other two, but plenty of people have money and access to high quality rocks and sticks, but that doesn't mean they can create impressive aquascapes. Just like having top quality canvas and paint doesn't make you a painter.

Mist of the great artists have had their resources. Michelangelo, da Vinci, and Picasso were all very well off. But yes, not just any rich guy can be an artist.

It's easy to scape when you have ten zillion different rocks at your disposal and three or four dozen employees:

That second tank with the frogs gives me an idea of how to use up a bag of black lava rock from Home Depot. Could make for a neat covered setup to grow emersed Crypts and a few hardy stems. Would look really cool with tiny Cories or White Clouds.

Third tank is kind of what I'd like to do with a spare tank if I can find a nice enough stump. Just minus all that Bolbitis (least favorite plant) or whatever it is he's currently obsessed with.

A few other newish videos:
