Moving to Citrus Heights Ca

Me and my family will be moving to the Sacramento area, looking like Citrus Heights, at the end of August. Just seeing if anyone who lives out there could give me any tips or important things to know. Kinda on a shoe string budget, hence citrus heights, but if I'm headed somewhere terrible it would be great to know ahead of time. Thanks ahead of time for any input and look forward to possibly meeting some of you in the future.

Be prepared for the heat. It will be around 100 degrees for about a month after you get there.

Heat's not to big of an issue for me, been working construction for the past 9 years so I am pretty well used to hot weather. Thanks for the info though guys.

CH seems to have a rep. as a bit ghetto, but really I think it's like any other city. There are the safe areas and there are those areas that you don't want to be around alone at certain times. I'm sure you'll find those out once you get accommodated there, though! If you wanna see how the area is where you're planning on moving, you can use this site https://www.crimereports.com.

Hope you adjust to the weather well! haha
