netflix

So I'm cancelling my tv service, I can't see paying 200 a month for a total of 10 shows I watch O.o I'm going to get a service like netflix, but I'm not sure which one is best or even all of the different options out there. Anyone have any advice on which is best? I'm trying netflix right now for free, and doesn't seem to have any of the shows I like.

Here is a list of shows, If ya'll know of a service that carries more than netflix let me know...
Dexter, Californication, Longmire, Justified, Supernatural, Deadliest Catch, Falling Skies, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, And The Walking Dead.

hulu has most of them. But even subscribed, you will have to watch some commercials =<

I have tried both and couldn't get all the shows i like =( so i had to keep my cable service =<

If you don't mind closing pop ups and adds, you can try some streaming sites.

I know I can find all my shows, but it's not legal, and I am trying to keep legal lol. I've been debating on hulu, they have a week trial, but there are commercials? My next question is how quickly are the shows updated on hulu. Next day or do you have to wait for the season to end?

Depends with hulu, sometimes its a year later, sometimes its next day. For popular shows, most the time its next day.

usually next day, its not as much commericals as non subscription, but some still has it. At least that's how it was when i had it over 6-8 months ago.

If you are looking to watch tv, i would definitely chose hulu over netflix. Netflix went downhill after it lost stars play. They took away stargate atlantis!! =( i had to cancel it after years of subscription.

We dropped cable a few years ago. Only regretted it when I wanted to watch Dr. Who Specials.

Between Netflix, Hulu and PBS.org, I'm pretty set.

I would do a combo of amazon prime, and Netflix. If there is a new show recently on, you can do season passes through iTunes. I have a cheap "media PC" built just for use with my tv

There is nothing illegal about streaming television shows online as long as you're not hosting or downloading them. Do a google search for project free tv and watch every show ever free.

I'm getting ready to do the same.

You can also head to a place like RadioShack or BestBuy and grab an indoor amplified antenna for local broadcast channels as well. I've seen them as cheap as 30 bucks, it just depends on where you live in relation to the broadcast towers

Honestly I'm not impressed with netflix. My girlfriend and I have had it for a few months, and pretty much all they have are low budget films and TV shows that I've already seen. If it were any more than $8 a month it wouldn't be worth it IMO.

Dan I agree with you, I just haven't been impressed with Netflix either, we cancelled our membership right after they did the whole crazy plan change to try to get rid of DVDs.

I've got the 3 in 1 combo here for brighthouse and that is going to be going to internet only if they keep raising their rates on the combo. The same combo when we got it was 99.99 4 months later they wanted to raise it, I flipped out they lowered it and now it's up to $129. My cable bill used to be predictable however now I never know what I'm paying
