To overcome the phobia, one night I let it craw on my hands and play with it for a while, then release it outdoor.

I still slightly afraid of it, mostly the germs and the toxin it can inject to your body. And those random "spider web in your face" experience.

it's not the size - it's the hairyness. and the fact that you can't get a read on a spider. I've got no problem with snakes, cause you can generally tell if they're pissed, sleepy, oblivious, etc...

but a spider. it just sits there, with those beady little eyes. you don't know if it's napping or about to jump on your face. *shutter*
