A hello to everyone.
My name's Jasmine. On here it's Emerald Arrow because I have an unhealthy obsession with all things crabby and leggy. Lol.
Up until a good two months ago I had no idea I was going to love all things tank as much as I'm beginning to. I assume this is how most of the stories start, but I'll latch onto the cliche for a moment, haha- because you couldn't have told me then that I'd be nerding out at Tropical Fish stores and Coral Reefs. This is all my fiance's doing. Saltwater aquariums are his peace and his muse. He's got a gorgeous 90 gallon Elos tank in our living room, and my tank is a 16 gallon Nuvo Aquarum Nano- which is actually kind of my pride and joy, considering this is the newest and most intriguing addition to my lifestyle. Both tanks are healthy as can be, again I blame him. I myself am still learning quite a bit.
Reason I'm here however is my addiction is moving at rapid speeds, in sporadic directions, lol. I have this extreme fascination with having many kinds of tanks now, and nothing catches my interest like a planted aquarium. I haven't even started mine, I'm waiting until a good month has passed and this 16 gallon is still doing okay before I take on another ecosystem. But I plan on getting a smaller tank, think the Elos mini. It's going to be pricey and for that reason I may have to Nano Cube or Biocube it up- but Elos makes the most gorgeous tanks I have seen.
Anyway, I'd like to start learning the process of beginning and maintaining my planted tank, which is why I'm here. Thank you all for having me, and for any help I may receive in the future.
