Reading every tank journal

There are something like 8,400 tank journal threads.

Assuming it takes 5 minutes to read one journal means you can read about 12 journals per hour, or 700 hours to read them all.

Now, let's say you spend an hour per day, every day, on the forums doing nothing else but reading journals... you will finish in just under 2 years. 8 hours per day? 3 months.

That is, of course, assuming that no new journals are created over that period of time (obviously not the case).

That's too bad, because I feel like there are probably some useful and interesting journal updates in there...

I would love to read all the tank journals, but it would take TOOOOO long unfortunately. If only we had all the time in the world... *sigh*

I try to look at a few each time I visit. Instead of just going to that sub-furum, when I see comments from a member on a topic that is relevant to my current interests, I usually look at their journal if they have a link on their sig line.

Also I check out Journals of people that comment on my journals. I've made some good friends like that.

Plenty of those 8k+ journals can be dismissed in a couple seconds. Whatever their original intentions, a vast number of tank journals fizzle out shortly after setup.

That's kind of the problem with a tank journal though, everything happens at the beginning and then it's just watching fish. Not much to update there.

Not really.
My tanks and journal are constantly evolving. Ive also read plenty other journals that are the same way.
I also do the same as Dogfish.
