I got a good laugh at myself tonight...

So tonight I decided that I had an extra ten minutes and wanted to mess around with my moss growing setup.

So while doing that I went off to get my rocks to attach some moss in order to get a moss rock or two going and after about 5 minutes of searching I realized something....

I've lost my rocks!!!!

......

While I am deeply saddened at the loss of my rocks (which I held dearly), I did enjoy the good LOL that I had at the thought that I had sincerely lost my rocks

BTW if any of you have any information leading to the where-abouts of said rocks, I will reward you (seriously)

Do you still have all of your marbles?
Once you've lost your marbles...well.

That's ok, I spent a good amount of time staring at the new strange creature living in one of my tanks trying to figure out what it was. Then finally realized it was on the dry side of the glass.

I am holding your rocks for ransom.
You will receive instructions at the appointed time. Do not contact the authorities if you ever want to see your rocks again
I will be getting your marbles in the next few days. Fair warning.

No, the worst is when I worry about losing my glasses. I search the apartment frantically.

Then I realize all along I was wearing them...

Time to get the ole prescription checked!

Imagine how the police report would go down:

"You don't understand, officer! He has my rocks!"

It's not that I want your marbles. It's how much do you want them back. especially since you have so few left.

Sailing Stones

They probably haven't made it too far. Check the other side of the hallway.

If you can use them they're yours, they've been sitting there for a while and I haven't been doing much with them as of late

LOL you have no idea how much that happens to me, I've bought so many scissors for trimming it's not even funny only to find them AFTER I'm done trimming the tanks with a new pair...this time it's my rocks...which are still missing

Those tricky self moving rocks...hallway is clear They've got to be here somewhere, or maybe I just had fewer rocks than I figured? But I swear I remember putting them up some place...

I hate it when I've just put something down and can't find it... You know what's a really bad thing to do that with? A sewing needle, when you're sitting in bed. I just did that a minute ago; forgot where I put my needle, spent five minutes looking for it and trying not to move too much lest I sit on it, then found it stuck in my project.
I also have things go missing just to reappear in plain sight... I swear we have gremlins. Maybe the gremlins stole your rocks!

My adventures in keeping Indostomus crocodilus, the crocodile toothpick fish. AKA armored stickleback, paradox fish, and freshwater pipefish. Care is (to the best of my knowledge) exactly the same as Indostomus paradoxus.
