Maybe I need to water once a day because of the dry Sacramento heat? I went a day and half to two days without watering and my tree looked pretty sad. There're a lot of factors that would go into watering.
It must have slipped my mind that it's not humid everywhere as I is here :P sorry

mistergreen: Any great bonsai shops in the Cincinnati/NKY area?

I've had to completely give up on the Louisville metro area.

No I don't think so. There was a little shop downtown but I don't think it's around anymore. There's a bonsai society here though. I see their bonsais in the Krohn Conservatory.

I went up to one of their white elephant sales a few years ago. There used to be a bonsai society here but it's been inactive for a few years unfortunately.

Seems to be the same in "Possibility City" (Louisville). Though, there are a couple gardening centers (the Frank Otte location on Bardstown Road) that carry some nice pots and generic "bonsai soil."

I'm heading into No Man's Land today to visit a couple shops for supplies. My little Maple and Blue Spruce trees are in need of new goodies.

Not yet. Suppose I should, though.

The other half's family just sent a couple new trees from Seoul that I should probably document as well.

haha. I never realized that you were from Louisville! My last girlfriend lived off of Bardstown Road- I remember seeing a garden center or two over there but I never got the opportunity to stop and check them out.

This one is my prize.

When I'm old, it'll look really nice.

But it'll take decades.
