Anyone have/had skin cancer/Dysplastic Nevi?
I'm a super moley person(like have 200 or more...) with many getting into the "larger size". This week I had a few excised(I've had some of the bigger ones excised in the past with no problems) and was told that they are dysplastic nevi(abnormal moles).
They are on my back and the stitches are killing me. Because both of these were dysplastic, I'm going to have to start having more removed, which sucks. As a high schooler I was a lifeguard and got more than my fair share of sun(and burns). I really regret it now. I'm using a spray on oil free sunscreen for every day use now, but looking for suggestions on a good, highly rated oil free sunscreen.
Also, this was all done by my family practice doctor. Should I take the time to have a dermatologist look at them. I've taken a photo catalog of them to watch them progressively. The family practice doc didn't think I needed to see any sort of specialist, but it has just got my nerves up. It seriously inflamed some stress related ulcers and this week has been almost shot.
Any tips or experience with this kind of stuff? I guess I'm not looking forward to a life of excisions and what not. I tend to be pretty easy going but this is really racking my stress level.
Also, to anyone waiting on an order, it will go out by Tuesday. I'm super sorry that they have not gone out this week, but I let this get the best of me and I ended up pretty sick due to the ulcers(and the pain of these friggin little stitches in my back is making me feel like a sally).
