Lucky man. You don't settle for less than awesome, eh?

Do you mainly just play drums or guitar as well?

Schweeeeet

That room looks perfect for a studio, mine is a desk in a 14x10 bedroom, I call it the 'empty chamber'. :/ I've got the old version of those KRK's.

I dont play drums at all, but they are the ultimate challenge to record given how the space they are recorded in is SO important. Also, there are so many microphones to manage and mix.

I play guitar primarily, but this effort is about the recording process not the playing. I am working to just record bands and leave the playing to somebody else.

I am intense, i know, its a curse.

Yeah, the room is crazy!! Its actually WAY too live, thus all the gobo's. It has a lot of potential and I am really excited about it.

I would love to have the space and equipment to just rent space out by the hour. Right now 90% of my equipment is software and freeware. I lost the motivation long ago to keep going with the studio, maybe in the future, in the right house.

Wow!!! Very nice setup you have there. Is this setup in your house? I used to have a dream to have a home studio then kids came along and barely have time to sit down and play the guitar anymore. Still keeping all my gear in hopes that the my son will become a rock star and I can live vicariously through him. LOL

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death life is only a dream which is an imagination of ourselves. Bill Hicks

No, its not my home, its at a converted church local to me. The guy who owns it is about to retire and is letting me use it until he sells it. Im just sucking it up while i can.

I know just what you mean about kids. We just had our first and life has changed (as expected). I had to make a choice, aquariums or studio play, aquariums lost

Awesome Tool ref in your sig
