Some low-tech pop music: The Popovers

Surprisingly catchy, it's worth a listen, even from somebody (me) who doesn't care much for "pop" music. They're both good friends, and yet I can honestly say I don't care for much that either of them has ever done musically before this.

These are links to a a download page (free and legal) and a review from with a youtube video thrown in. There's an incredibly tragic backstory. The video is part of a series (LA Web Series Festival 2011 winner for Reality Series) documenting someone living with ALS, and this episode deals specifically with the album. You can preview tracks and download the album via the first link. Warning: good music, very sad story.
