Weirdest dreams to deal with your fish?

Last night I had a dream that all of my fish escaped and were swimming in the air drying out and I had to catch them. except they kept swimming away.

Other dreams I had, my tank exploded out into the floor. I had been reading threads about others tanks exploding those days haha

Anti-gravity fish!

I have this recurring dream about a tiny, brick LFS, in a little disrepair. I walked down to the basement, turned down some hallways, and entered this dark hole-in-the-wall store. (The amount of hallway and space below this little building is absurd) The tanks would alternate degrees of health: every other tank diseased, the fish were near dying before me, but every other tank's fish were the epitome of perfect health. The species of fish I'd been looking for in vain for nearly two years are in the only tank that is neither diseased or healthy. They were priced cheaply, and an employee asked if I needed help. I asked about the filtration in the tanks, if they were cleaned by the same system. I hoped they were just new arrivals and recovering. He wouldn't give a solid answer, but tried selling them. In one dream, I took them despite bad premonition, and then I woke up. In the other version, I told him "Don't try to push bad fish," and stalked off to look for plants. The other employees literally pushed me around and made grabs for me, because I called their business like it was. I shook them off, and ran for the exit, but they blocked it, and then I had to find a tiny tunnel behind the tanks' crawlspace to escape.

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid." - Einstein

I've never had the flying fish dream, but occasionally a fish store will pop up. There are a few different ones that are usually visited I've never really had recurring dreams though, maybe recurring themes, but not exact dreams.

I only dream that all of my tanks are completed. That is a pretty large dream because I have so many ideas for cool tanks.

I dream of finding wildly colored fish in small bodies of water, like puddles, and excitedly collecting them to bring home for my aquariums. Or about posting here.

Had a daydream yesterday about how cool it would be if male bettas could co-exist and schooled.

I was in southeast asia as a very small kid. The fishes in puddles really exist naturally especially after a rain storm

Oh, I have dreamt I lived underwater though, not necessarily about fish.

I've had a dream like that. Water going through your gills tickles when you're not used to it.

This is not a dream but a true story. We had a small earthquake about 6-7 years ago. At the time I had a 65g HEX reef tank (about $3000 in corals). These tanks are about 6 feet tall on a two foot footprint. I managed to wake from a dead sleep, bolt in the other room and grab the tank to hold it up until it was over. The quake only lasted 3 seconds total. Haha, I was ALWAYS worried that tank was going to fall over.

This is so funny, I've had a similar dream for years like that. Here's an old thread about dreams you might like: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/lo...ly-dreams.html

The strangest one I've had with fish recently is finding a box from Cardinal Tetra on the dining room table that I got a month before and finding a hidden compartment with a bag full of live baby fish.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.
