Wait...I just have one question:

How did it go that long without getting derailed and changed to the subject about waffles? I mean, if you have the right light bulb that is big enough and hot enough it can cook them...

Yep, WPG does not matter. Only PAR. One needs about 190 micromoles of PAR to reach the optimum cooking temp for waffles.

WPG (waffles per gallon) is easy to measure though, unlike PAR (pancake active radiation) which requires expensive equipment.

And besides, light bulbs don't exist in nature, therefore we shouldn't use them in our tanks.

I totally disagree. Waffles per gallon is ENTIRELY easy to measure. You measure the gallons of maple syrup consumed and divide by pounds gained.
