Dwarf baby tears are a major pain in the butt to grow. HM is much easier to start with

Only bad things happen quickly.
A little allot is better than allot a little.

It's fine until it grows in then, yeah it's gotta be recarpeted which is a big job especially if you have a big tank, which I assume you do for Angels. Plus HC needs co2 and good light/ferts if your going to create an attractive carpet.

If this is your concern:

Then moss is your best bet or some other lowlight stem.

HC is more difficult to grow, much more difficult than HM, usually it's not a beginner plant

also typically it's good to add all your plants at once so you don't disturb the substrate too much

also ghost shrimp are different from Amano shrimp or Japonica shrimp, they wont get along with other types of shrimp like cherries or crs and the ghost shrimp don't really eat algae either

BAbay tears have never worked without a CO2 and high light for me...
I would say low mait would be a moss on a netting weighted down until it spreads.
