Stainless Steel mesh for Moss

I want to make a moss wall for my new shrimp tank and I need stainless steel mesh. I have plastic needlepoint mesh but I think the holes are too small. Can anyone point me to a place to get stainless steel mesh for a decent price? All I can find is 20-40 a square foot and I can't afford that right now.

Type "steel mesh" in the search and you can find a few people here selling smaller peices of it pretty cheaply

I think plastic window screen will work. It's super cheap too.

There are 2 types of people on this forum. Those that have algae, and those that lie and say they don't.

I just made a moss wall for my shrimp tank. I had a hard time finding anything locally with big enough holes. So I bought a sheet of the needlepoint mesh and instead of layering it with the java moss in between, I lightly sewed the moss to the front. It looks a little flat in spots but I expect that after it attaches and I give it a trim it will look alright.
