Too Many Plants or....

Hi folks:

My second attempt in aquascaping my nanotank - the first time around I had a bout of diatoms, which ruined everything, so this is like a relaunch.
Just fishing out for any opinions/recommendations to the new layout.

Too much flora? Anything that looks obvious as out of place?

I don't think one can have too many! Well you don't at least. Maybe move that large-leaved plant on the left back a little, I would keep smaller ones in the front to keep the scape looking more controlled. Other than that i think it looks great, the plants look very healthy!

I recommend some different colors for more contrast.

I agree. some red splashed in or maybe a flowering lily type plant in the front. I LOVE when the fish swim thru all the plants all the time. Makes me feel like they are happy in a "natural" environment!

You can never have too many plants. It looks beautiful.

My roommate says I'll die by giant turtle.

I think you should add more stones around the one you already have.

Looks good, I would let it fill in even more. My tank was actually too heavily planted, it is in the process of getting trimmed back.

You could plant it even more, add plants with more red, remove livestock, and go Dutch!
