120 cm long tank
I have a 120cm long tank that contains the following plants;
willow moss, java fern and A nana on lava rock in the mid foreground and Valisneria sp (collected from an irrigation ditch in Tochigi Pref Japan years ago). There are also stalks of Lucky Bamboo and philodendron growing out of the tank.
Water pH 7.8 27ºC
Fish in the tank are;
X cortezi Vinasco strain, a large colony
N liemi halfbeaks 2 left from a breeding colony
M praecox good sized breeding colony
I intend to pull out the valisneria, the Neon Rainbows and halfbeaks
add some Lucania goodei
I'd like suggestions on a good plant to replace or add variety to the valisneria with, it has to be low maintenance, hardy, able to spread-either by runners or seed and not inclined to go dormant.
I was thinking of A rigidfolius but am open to suggestions.
