Just picked up an awesome piece of wood...what else should I do?
While browsing craigslist for something totally unrelated, I found a guy selling a large piece of driftwood from his old cichlid tank. It fits really well into my 90 gallon, but I still have a lot of space left over.
I plan on planting the tank pretty heavily and I want it to have a more natural look when its finished (as opposed to a 'gardened' look). Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do over on the other side, and what do you think of the wood placement? The wood is flat (it was cut from a larger piece) on the bottom, so it looks best in the position its in. Should I get more wood, or some rocks? I might go and check out a landscaping supply place tomorrow and see if they have any cool rocks.
Also, that thing that looks like its in the substrate on the left is just glare. The tank is only substrate and the large piece of wood at the moment.
