and 1 Stunning Dumbo Halfmoon Plakat Betta. His name is Hogosha (which in Japanese means 'Guardian')
afterwards i started planting. the rocks where covered in a mix of christmas moss and taiwan moss, tree branches where covered in weeping moss, the crack and creaks of the rock and wood is where i put the dwarf pennywort. the rest of the substrate is dwarf hairgrass and at the far back is some randon stem plant.
the bonsai trees obviously represent the willow trees and the sand is suppose to represent the river. i bought nano fish to keep a sense of scale and to make my tank look bigger than it actually is. the rasboras are suppose to be birds and pygmies, shrimp and otos are land animals. Ryuu is actually suppose to be a dragon in the forest.
the water lettuce are supposed to be clouds.
After watch a ton of anime movies that included forests I fought I would make one. The Dumbo fins on the betta along side the metallic scales that change colour, according to the lights, really makes the scape look mystical.
At night when the moonlight less come on, all you see are the fins fluttering like butterflies in a forest. The guardian spirit that protects the land.
This is what the tank Did look like but I have recently done alot of adjustments and rescaping which will make the tank look so much better.
I'm also adding pressurised co2 to get maximum effect. I will be sure to keep you guys updated.
The finished product is yet to come.
