I bought the habrosus to bring out the pygmies. There were so shy. It worked!

The chili rasboras are kind of freaked out by all the activity
They're schooling! (in one place).

I had read that maple was not good for a tank because it produces sap. Perhaps what you have is okay because the sap has dried out of the wood?
