its an eclipes 6 hagen co2 stock lighing and stock filtration
and 1.5"s of black sand no fish at the moment but will have 2-3 corries and 6-10 cardinal tetras

I would try to get that windelov/fishtail fern out of the substrate. Burying the rhizome like that will make it die. I will attach it to a rock or driftwood or something. Can't wait to see this tank down the road, keep us updated with plenty of pics.

You'd be better off propagating those from the plantlets that its sprouting...if you want to frag it you will have to let it get really big and wait for it to strart to split on its own, then split it...and that takes forever.

Its still going to ougrow that tank in no time.

Nice little tank. Maybe you need either at least double the thickness of your current substrate, or you need much smaller plants or stem plants.

that tahitan moon sand? how much per bag did u pay.. heeh 13.00usd for me... i got a 10gal with 20lbs of that in it i only did it cuz it looked cool, how is that for plants! dose? u know what would look nice, a apongeton crispus... only a single... mine ive had forever and they never got any bigger than the hight of the tank! and they grow fast!

oh hey u know what looks cool with that a big nice piece of glass rock! tahts what i gots... cool cool... so update please looks great

this tank is no more it was torn down for my nano-cube but the plants are in my 25 gallon
