EvolutionZ's nano nature.

hi guys, i am 16, from singapore.. i have been in aquascaping for about 2 years.. on and off i have been doing 1ft cubes or 2ft tank.. recently, i got a chance to get a nano i wanted. tank size of 40x30x25 (LxBxH).

intro of this tank : this tank was initially used for shrimp keeping, but as i had no chiller, i gave up.. going to keep T.candidi instead.

Tank specs :
40x30x25 (LxBxH) tank custom made by YONGHUA.
2 x Kenis 13watt PL clip on (6500k)
GeX Dark green packing soil.(with old sea mud soil powder at the bottom)
Flora : E.tenellus, UG, japanese hair grass, Didiplis diandra, christmas moss, Hair grass.
fauna : Ember tetra and T.candidi.

Tank arrived 1 hour ago.. really nice tank and price was attractive(please don't ask me for price, ask yonghua)

hooked up everything on my 2ft lower tier..

day 3 :
bought 4 piece of wood, manage to settle down for 1 scape, pretty wild looking to me.

wood tied with xmas moss and filled up water.. and 1 whole bottle of mosura is poured in as stated.

the nanas are surprisingly not affected by BBA yet.. fingers crossing..

jap hg.. spreading but very very slow..

a casual fts ..

day 32 :
tank on the making to transform from low tech to high tech.

day 36 :
today is day 36 of the tank.. fully dose of NPK with EI and seachem iron.. co2 source using excel.
added a school of ember tetra today too.. quite coperative when photoshooting.

Beautiful!

I know growth is the whole point of the exercise, but it's a shame you can't see the driftwood any more. That was beautifully done.

could just be the exposure on the camera. but yea, i liked seeing the contrast between the raw wood colors and the green. although the bleak color of the wood makes those fish look awesome! its a toss up.

Sweet! That is a beautiful scape. I think it could easily pass as a 29 gallon or bigger if I didn't know better.

i believe if its replaced by ada wood, the scape would soon be overpowered by the plants.. and will not be strong enough as a hardscape..

anyway.. a casual FTS and some ember tetra pictures.

bought a new fan, ista criss cross fan.. now my tank have 3 clip on equpiment.. looks kinda ulgy.

Love this tank. Wish I'd seen it earlier before I bought some wood!

Beautiful tank

Is it just me or does your moss wall seem to be dead?
