Update

Ok so I had a problem with some of the CO2 bubbles nesting and surface film that I didnt want to deal with anymore, after talking with Orlando from GLA he recommended to go ahead and throw on a surface skimmer. What a difference, water is so clear and it does seem to be brighter, I did need to adjust this thing as if it isnt properly setup, it will suck air which is not what you want....Also I have been having problems with keeping the tubing connected to the glass diffuser, decided to boil some water and get it as far on the diffuser as possible, well... I had found out these things are delicate as they are made from glass and I had forced the tubing on without supporting the actual rod portion and it broke at the elbow Joy! Well not all bad b/c then I had an excuse to order some more toys from GLA woot! Ordered 2x GLA glass diffuser 5000, and a few scaping tools . So in the meantime I had found an unopened box or coralife wooden diffusers and am currently using that for the CO2 until the new ones arrive...

Well starting to get serious with the groundcover....Question is Glosso or HM...hmmmm both look so good, Glosso stays short while the HM will get leggy if not regularly trimmed...Thoughts?

I'm glad you directed me this way, it looks like you know your carpet plants! Both look to be doing really well in your tank, do you have to choose one? I like the look of the glosso growing up through the ground-hugging HM.

How long do you run your lights? Your tank looks remarkably clean, are you noticing much algae? I'm curious if the broad leaves on the glosso become an algae issue, as anubius leaves often do. Looking forward to continued updates on this one.

Thanks for the comments! Tank has been up and running for a bit now, I have seen no signs of algae but I do run my co2 at 3bps which gives me a lime green color on the drop checker...I hate to decide on which carpet to go with, I love them both, they are extremely green atm...I kinda just got as many plants I could find, threw them in the tank to see what would do best...I am now noticing the Toninia is def. slowly melting as the water is from tap and even with CO2, water is still pretty hard...I have my lights and co2 running for about 10 hours a day 10am-8pm.

This looks really nice! I wish my glosso would carpet like that! By the way, did you ever get your Pico set up?

I did! It is housing maybe 25~ RCS. With only blyxa, which needs to grow new leaves.
