My planted goldfish tank!

Hey everyone! I am brand new to this forum, so this is my first official thread. I have a new 55 gallon goldfish tank, and today I planted it. I am very new to fish (only had them about 2 months now). I have been trying to learn everything about it, but all the information can be overwhelming at times. Anyways, here is my current setup. Any comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

-55 gallon tank
-Two aquaclear 70 filters
-Marineland double bright LED
-Two Marineland hidden 21" LEDs
-Caribsea torpedo beach sand/gravel
-7 telescope goldfish
-5 nerite snails
-1 BN pleco

So yes, my tank is over stocked. I am hoping this will help the plants though. Maybe? I have started dosing with flourish and excel, and I also have root tabs in there. I don't really know if this is absolutely necessary, since I do have so many goldfish in there. I also am unsure about my lights, is my tank considered low light? Here is a list of my plants:

-Anubias nana
-Java Fern
-Amazon Sword
-Cryptocoryne parve
-Echinodorus cordifolius
-Anubias barteri
-Tiger Lotus (red)
-Telanthera Rosefolia
-Vallisneria spiralis
-Water Sprite
-Marimo moss balls
-Two other types of Anubias, not sure which species

So far I am only worried about my Vallisneria spiralis. My plant order was delayed three extra days, and so a lot of the leaves where brown and melty when I got it. I cut some off, but not all of them. Should I give all the leaves a trim? Should I just leave it alone? Will the brown parts just melt away on their own?

Here are some pics of my tank:

Thanks! It is my first real planted tank, I really didn't know what kind of lights, etc to buy-so I just bought the ones they sell at Petsmart LOL! I am hoping to learn a lot from this forum.

Nice looking setup, planted goldfish tanks aren't too common, but beautiful...

You've got alot of sturdy plants that should stand up to abuse. I'm sure it will continue to improve as both the fish and plants grow.

Also, great to see more Minnesotans on here!

Then again, that fish would probably bite on a cigarette butt.
