Months ago I got an ADA Mini-M from Frank W. that I initially intended on using for an iwagumi scape. I began to DSM the tank, but quickly got bored with the iwagumi layout, and scrapped it. I decided to change it up and go with stones, branches, and a densely planted center focal point.
Anyway, onto the technical specs...
- ADA Mini-M
- ADA Solar Mini
- Aquaclear 20
- Dual-stage regulator/5lb tank/in-tank diffuser
* Otos are only in here so they don't die with my shelldwellers.
- 8 Celestial Pearl Danios
- 4 Otocinclus
- Limnophila Repens 'mini'
- Tonina Fluviatilis 'lotus blossom'
- Rotala Indica 'true' (Ammania sp. bonsai)
- Rotala Rotundifolia
- Rotala Colorata
- Rotala Mini Butterfly
- Ludwigia sp. red
- Lobelia Cardinalis 'dwarf'
- Staurogyne Repens
- Alternanthera Reineckii 'mini'
- Eleocharis Belem
- Hemianthus micranthemoides
All of these plants came from my 46g before I removed all of the plants from it. That's why there's such a variety - I slimmed down my collection to this one tank, and many of these were plants I just didn't want to get rid of, so I just shoved them in here. Figured they'd blend into one big bush in the middle.
I'm considering nixing the L. repens mini and L. sp red, because they're a bit out of scale in this tank.
Here are some photos, I'll get better ones later as I just did a water change and it's cloudy. My CPDs are a little shy as well, so I'll need to wait for them to get comfortable to get better photos - they like to hide in the back behind the plants.
