Nice start

I hope you're not filling the tank while it's on the carpet.

Biut Ill wait and see
Only main concern is there is a big of grey fuzzy mould growing on the root. Anything I can do about it?

Nice scape, I really like the plant choice and the scape itself. I would dab the mold with rubbing alcohol and wash it off with a wet paper towel.

So I've dabbed the dwarf hair grass and substrate around it with witch hazel. It's all I had in the house. It seems to have worked. So far...
But I also realized there really wasn't any air circulation, so I've left a corner open all day now, lets some air exchange happen, hi this help the fungus/mould.
I never filled the bottom layer of tank with water and substrate is jugs barely damp to touch so I'm surprised I was getting mould/fungus? Frustrating!

I think ahead, planning my equipment...

Filter and lighting.

Lighting-I'm currently using a finnex planted. 20" but it's 2 inches to long. Was thinking of getting another one? Anyone use anything getter for the price?

Filter- I ain't figure out which enhiem I need!
There are many models. It's only. 10 gallon tank, and won't be a high bio load. There will be limited space so a small model is a must. Thoughts?

I have the exact tank, a 10 gallon Do!aqua and I have an Eheim 2213. It is quiet and awesome. I clean the filter every 3 months.

Still fungus

So I figured out (I think) why my dsm was getting a bit
Of fungus on part of the substrate and root.
I had no air circulation.

So roots out until I'm done dsm. And I took top layer of ada soil off that was mouldy replaced it and then dried it out a bit. Sprayed down and now I've left the corners open hopefully this will help.

Also had to remove the old hair grass because the mould kept return on it.

But on a positive note my hc is growing well!

Im about 2.5 weeks in
