I just moved and my girlfriend only wanted one tank, so I bought a new Mr. Aqua 17 gallon. I brought over some DHG and the 7 harlequin rasboras from my old tank, and reused the substrate and the Eheim to avoid a cycle.
This is how I have it set up as of the weekend. It's my last chance to change the scape around (minor tweaks only to avoid disturbing the substrate too much) so let me know if you have suggestions!
I have some rotala rotundifolia and some ludwigia peruensis on the way. Probably going to plant them in the back corners.
I usually dose EI but I'm holding off for a week or two and let things get settled.
I'm thinking of adding some more fish and invertebrates. At least a couple snails to clean the glass. I have some RCS in a tank that I have to tear down soon, but I'm afraid they would get eaten...
