Working on ideas for hanging my finnex light, and may have come up with a great option. 3/32 x 2" cotter pins.

I used eye hooks that were long enough to replace the screws that hold the end caps in. Ignore the extra aluminum fixture that's attached, it houses 4 RGB LED strips.

My Mr. Aqua 17.1 (MMA17)

I made these out of some thin round bar found at Home Depot. Also used some rubber coated wire for a more clean look than chain. Didn't end up using them though. I ended up sending them to Brian. It took a few tries to get them bent nice, but I eventually got it.
