Nice! Looking very good.

Do you have any shots of the glass top? How is it attached, and how did you make it?

I'll take a pic after work for you. My girlfriend does stained glass so she just cut it out for me. You'll understand when I get a pic.

To the honest, this is one of the best Spec scapes I've seen. Although I liked the parva in the previous scape, I think having the Java fern and swords looks much cleaner. Everything looks very lush . Great job!

Thanks I appreciate that. Here are the pics of the glass top. I used rubber bumpers to space it up for airflow on three corners and it sits on the heater on the other corner. Keeps the top off way down and easier to control. You can also see I took apart the light and sit it on the glass instead of using the "arm".

Very clever! I'm almost tempted to try it as a replacement for the Fluval's stock cover... but I don't think they did such a bad job, so I'll keep it stock for a little while longer. Once the plastic no longer looks good, though, I'll definitely consider going with glass like yours.

Do it... Looks way better than the cheap plastic and doesn't cost a lot. Measure it and have lowes or Home Depot cut it for you. <$20
