10 Gallon tank Sliding drawer

Got tired of my extra 10 gallon wasting space, so I decided I'll make use of it. Been planning to do something with it so here it is!

Still more work to come, and haven't exactly decided what's going in it. Feel free to throw in some ideas

Hooked up the lighting and threw the framing on. Now to decide on scape plans and livestock.

Cool idea but I would definitely think about how much weight your putting on a dresser that doesn't seem to be reinforced. A 10lb tank is about 85lbs when filled. The 20 you have on top is already bending your dresser in the center from what I can see in the pic, a 20 filled weighs 160-170lbs.
I'm not trying to be a downer, just keep it in mind. I would put some extra support for the tank you already have never mind the new one. And if you plan on opening the fish tank like a drawer? your asking for disaster.

you're definitely right that this is a disaster in the making. I guarantee the drawer isn't meant to hold that weight. a 10g tank will easily hit 100lbs w/ water, gravel, rocks/wood.

maybe consider a riparium?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Riparium sounds like it fits the shoe, and honestly I did not even notice the flexing on my 20l till you mentioned something. Definitely going to add some extra support to that.
