2.5g Betta

I got bored with snails and I love my other two bettas SO:
the 2.5g snail tank is now a betta tank!

Just waiting for equipment to come in the mail and I will be finishing the setup.

This is it so far:

Lee's Economy Corner Filter for Small Aquariums will go in the back left, and Hagen Elite Hagen Elite Radiant 6" Aquarium Heater will go where ever.

I also got a JW Fusion 200 Air Pump for the filter.
I'm either keeping my clip on 9w CFL lighting or rigging the Aqueon evolve 2 light to fit on the rim.

Has anyone ever used that heater (Hagen Elite Hagen Elite Radiant 6" Aquarium Heater)?

Made a little betta hide out of some extra PVC pipe I had around! Sanded the edges and attached some peacock moss with thread.

hygro compacta is starting to transition to submerged form. Some new green leaves are popping out

I'm expecting the filter and heater to arrive tomorrow. Then let the cycle begin! (I can't wait)

Rough few days with an ammonia spike, but we are pulling through. Daily 80% water changes and testing, seeing good results. I might have jumped the gun on my cycle, but I think it will be okay.

Things are doing good here! Tank seems to have made it through the mini cycle well.

Here he is hanging in his PVC pipe moss tunnel giving me the eyeball:
