For my 10gal beta tank, I let anacharis take over the tank, The beta LOVES it! he sleeps on it constantly. The ground is covered in dwarf sag also.

In my 75gal I put it in the back corners, and let it grow up and over the middle. my angle fish hide in it and seem to enjoy it. Its actually a fairly beautiful plant when it gets long and fluffy.

Is that a jungle val in the back? If so that will take over quite well. Or the hygro....that stuff looks great all grown up.

I'm not sure where you're talking about. On the left side? If so, that's onion. Crinum..or whatever.

That would be crinum (water onion)

Although Jungle vals would be nice, look into some of them.

Mine ussually have 5 plantlets per week, if you decide you want some, hit me up.
I've also got giant vals.

I'm sick of this crinum, too. Finally thought I had a handle on it staying in the soil, and I came home to find one floating. I don't even like it that much, and have way too many new plants coming, so it's going in the garbage. It's not even worth trying to get rid of on here, as it has some algae on it.

Yes, they're very odd plants. mine looks pretty much just like my Jungle vals, only the leaves are thicker, darker, and curlyer than the vals.

mine came in a bulb pack from walmart, along with apongeton sp.- the fastest growing plant i've ever seen.
