Ive tried but not enough light i think!
I think the "red" plants usually need to much light for my actual capacity...

But be sure i will try that and to introduce some lower plants to the front sight!

Thanks for ur words!

don't feel bad, it's a slow week for everyone.

it's a nice setup you have. though personally i think it's a bit 2 dimensional. flat front carpet and a seemingly flat vertical wall of plants. i don't really have any suggestion to change the look though since i suck at scaping. maybe move the anubias and crypt so that they don't just blend into the rest. and your big rock or wood is hidden.. or well it doesn't stand out at least.

either way the growth all looks healthy, especially the riccia.

I love the riccia carpet and want to try it I'd add some manzanita branches kinda sitting from the back and branching out into the foreground, that might break up the strict foreground/background look a little. Beautiful tank regardless.

anything with riccia needs dedication. it's a messy plant but can be really beautiful if maintained nicely, and with that carpet i can only imagine what kind of maintenance you need. so again, great job.

For now it wasnt much trouble but im sure i will find some work to do:

- Cuttings after it grows;
- Renewing riccia inside the net cause the one trapped starts to get yellow and dies;
- taking out the carpet each time i have to vacumm;
- ahhhh! And open the window to the morning's sun! :P

Yaaaa! It will give me some work :P

hehehe But worth it!

Wow! That last pic is freaking awesome! The top of the water looks like it has blue fire and pinkish purple smoke.
