Thanks guys,
Unfortunately, its going to be a week or two. Once I put this box together, I realized that I could not install it in the tank as one piece. So I took both pieces apart and will be bonding them together with weldon in the tank.....should make it interesting

it has a very natural feel to it. Nicely done

There are 2 types of people on this forum. Those that have algae, and those that lie and say they don't.

Well, I finally got around to installing the new milled overflow box tonight. I can not over state how big of a P.I.T.A. it is to remove and install a overflow box on a existing tank. Never again! At least I hope not

Please excuse the mess

Don't know which level of light the plants(by type) need but you got 4x the light of a low light level tank in there. 2WPG is good. Moving the lights much farther up will help this. A reference to the algae. I cultivate it so I know what it takes to grow it.
A bit of changes since this picture but this is what I mean.

Don't have any experience/w growing them in CO2 but the Fissedens grow much slower than most mosses in my 1.8WPG non CO2 tank. You can trim off the length to make it real short also if you like so either way it's far less bushy than other mosses for the smaller diameter limbs of your branches. Looks much more organized than the eratic direction mosses have in their growth(most of them). Still I would be conservative with it as I think you would want to be able to see most of the wood. But that's me so up to you of course. They do also have "mini" Fissedens. But the ones I got came in/on a dirt pad and the water jets would destroy those(I think).

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Thanks for the reccomendations. I am running just about 5wpg at this time. I am currently running a fairly high level of Co2 and at this time have been able to kick the algae problems. I am fairly certain it was due to new tank syndrome

Sorry for the low quality pictures, I am working on a old school cell phone camera. And for reference the water is not as yellow as the puictures make it appear

Round one of rescape. Will be adding more rocks and removing the majority of the NLJF and swapping it out for something else....open to suggestions in plants. Will also be adding a black background soon. Still cloudy from the rescape.

Thanks.
A local buddy has had them for years as a breeding project with no luck. When I saw I was looking for some he offered up these 5 beauties
