My 75.. Time for a Journal

So I've been asking a ton of questions and slowly putting together everything needed for the 75 to come together when I move

Specs:
Light: DIY 108W of CFL bulbs (8 bulbs total)
Filter: 2 Aquaclear 110s
Heater: Jager 250W

So I have made a 3D background (still being painted) out of great stuff and lava rock. The 1 piece of driftwood / stump will probably be somewhere in the center

Going to be using Miracle Grow and capping it with black diamond.

I think I want to do mostly crypts, temple plant, Alternanthera Reineckii, maybe a few swords

Current plant stock I have:
3 Amazon Swords (huge - may sell)
1 Red Marble Queen Sword (needs TLC)
6 C. Mi Oya
4-5 C Wendtii Red /Bronze
2-3 C Lutea
1 C Florida Sunset
5-6 Temple Plants
2-3 A. Reineckii
R. Rotundifolia (may sell)
R. Indica (may sell)
Moneywort (may sell)
3-4 Java Fern
1 Unidentified bulb plant (24-30" tall)

Any other plants I could add for some different sizes, I know most of these crypts peak at around 1'

With a black substrate and the crypts I am thinking, what color do you guys think the background should be based around?

I would say more grayish like the stone in your one picture.

Ya I would use at least 3 colors on it to make it look realistic. Find a real rock and copy those colors. I would at least do Med gray, dark gray, blackish gray for accent or cracks. You could also mix in a darkish brown at parts.

Time for a little update:

Got my brand new 75g Tank

Background has been siliconed in place (praying that it doesn't pop free - testing tomorrow)

Plant to test the background, then drain the tank, do a thin layer of peat moss, then 1" MGOPM, then 1-2" of black diamond sand

Plants will consist of:
Temple Hygro
Althernanthera Reineckii
C. Balansae
C. Spiralis
C. Wendtii (multiple types)
C. Mi Oya
C. Parva
C. Lucens
C. Lutea
Java Fern (on driftwood)
Moneywort
